Annual Training Breaks

What a massive 12 months our various squads have had! Over the last 12 months, our members have racked up over 500 new personal best times, won over 100 medals, qualified for Area, Metropolitan and State Championships for the first time, and improved massively in technique and fitness! Well done to you all on your hard work!

During July, all groups will have their Annual Training Break. This is an opportunity for swimmers, parents and coaches to recharge and re-focus for the coming summer. We encourage you to stay active during this time, with an occasional swim, to maintain your fitness and feel for the water, while still giving your body and mind some rest and recovery.

The last training session will be Thursday, 27th June. Sessions will resume on Monday, 5th August.

There will be some sessions for swimmers who have qualified for the Metropolitan and State Short Course Championships. Details of these sessions will be provided to the swimmers concerned following the Metro South West Short Course Championships at the end of June.

Training moves to Granville Pool

Training moves to Granville Swimming Centre on Monday, 1st April.

Session Details

We are currently working with Council to finalise lane space. At this stage there are no changes planned to the current schedule - apart from no training sessions on Saturday mornings.

All swimmers who will continue to train in April are asked to complete the Training Enrolment Form by Monday, 18th March so that we can determine at what time sessions will be held. Swimmers who complete their enrolment forms by this date will receive a $5 credit* per swimmer that can be used on purchases from the Squad Shop.

Session times may change based on the number of enrolments received. Sessions will require a minimum of 4 enrolments to go ahead. The final training times for each group will be published on the Training Schedule.

If you will not be training at Granville, please let us know as soon as possible by email.

Sessions are scheduled to return to Merrylands in October.
