World Swimming Championships 17 July 2001 Peter-Johnston Latest News Channel Nine's Wide World of Sports will be showing live coverage of the finals of The 9th FINA World Swimming Championships from Fukuoka, Japan. The Swimming Championships begin on Sunday, 22nd July and finish on Sunday, 29th July. Nine's live finals coverage will begin at 6:30pm on Sunday and 7:00pm during the week.
