McCredie Park Development Carnival 24 September 2001 Peter-Johnston Latest News Yesterday 4 members of the club attended the McCredie Park Development Carnival at the Guildford Swimming Centre. From the 17 events that were entered by members of our club they won 5 medals and set 12 personal best times. David Wang was our most successful swimmer winning gold in the 8yrs 25m Butterfly, silver in the 50m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle and placing 4th in the 50m Breaststroke. Both Brittany Johnson and Sarah Johnston won 1 medal each. Brittany broke her personal best time in the 11yrs 50m Butterfly to win bronze while Sarah took over 2 seconds off her time in the 12yrs 50m Breaststroke to win silver. Amber Johnson also had a good meet on her return from injury, breaking 3 personal best times. The meet results are now available. At the NSW Short Course Development Meet on Saturday, Todd Jenkin, representing the Cumberland District, placed second in the 12yrs 50m Freestyle and first in the 50m Breaststroke.
