Merrylands had a very successful meet at the Cumberland District Championships winning 3 medals.

Jordan Burden came from behind in the 100m Freestyle to win the gold in a time of 1:12.73. Troy Tomkinson was in the lead for most of the 100m Butterfly but eventually finish second in 1:03.56. And Mitchell Emery broke his long course PB to win the bronze medal in the 100m Breaststroke.

Jordan not only won the 100m Freestyle, he placed 5th in the 100m Backstroke, and 4th in the 100m Breaststroke.

Todd Jenkin 8th – 13yrs 100m Breaststroke
Troy Tomkinson 8th – 14yrs 100m Freestyle
Robert Griffey 6th – Senior 50m Backstroke
  8th – Senior 50m Freestyle
  8th – Senior 50m Butterfly
Peter Johnston 5th – Senior 50m Breaststroke
Joseph Franji 4th – Open 50m Multi-Disability Breaststroke
  4th – Open 50m Multi-Disability Backstroke
  6th – Open 50m Multi-Disability Butterfly
  7th – Open 50m Multi-Disability Freestyle
