Steven Nguyen swam a new Personal Best Time at the NSW State Open Championships today.

Swimming in Lane 1 in Heat 2, Steven was slightly behind at the start, but finished strongly, touching the wall 3rd in a new PB of 26.24, shaving 0.24 off the time he swam at the NSW Grand Prix in December last year.

Overall, Steve finished 121st out of 152 entrants, improving his ranking by 20 places.

Congratulations to Steve on his first ever swim at State Open and thank you to Ian, Alison and Peter for coming along for support.
