Parramatta Inter-Club Cup Results 15 November 2014 Peter-Johnston Latest News Merrylands hosted the annual Parramatta Inter-Club Cup between Merrylands, Parramatta City and Parramatta Memorial Swim Clubs on Saturday 15th November, 2014. Each club was allocated 2 lanes for each event and each age group and points were awarded by places 1st to 6th. Merrylands was looking to have a repeat performance of last year’s win however it was not to be as Parramatta City came from behind and won by just 26 points, having some great results in their relays right at the end of the day. Although Merrylands came second overall, the Merrylands girls had a ripper of a meet and finished on top of the girl’s point score. The sausages were a great consolation for all swimmers. Parramatta City kindly ran the raffle and raised money for charity. Thank you to Parramatta City and Parramatta Memorial for coming along and thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the meet run so smoothly. We look forward to swimming with you and trying to win the trophy back again next year!
