Australian Masters Championships - Day 2 22 April 2016 Peter-Johnston Latest News Day 2 A long day for Day 2 with 12 new personal best times today and 2 medals. The 800m Freestyle was first up and under less than ideal conditions, Ian Wilson, Shelley Zerni, Lauren Leckie and Kylee Murray all swam new personal best times. All 10 of our team were in action in the 50m Freestyle, with Alison Sakurovs taking home Silver in a new personal best time of 28.63. Margaret Edwards, Tricia Johnston, Lauren, Kylee and Shelley also swam new PBs. Tricia's time was her 2nd PB in the 50m Freestyle in as many days, taking almost 2 seconds off the time she swam yesterday to finish in 52.68. The 200m Backstroke was up next and both Peter Johnston and Lauren swam new personal best times, while in the final event of the day, the 200m Butterfly, Alison finished off day with another Silver medal.
