Four swimmers represented Merrylands at the NSW Open Water Championships on 19th December at the Sydney International Regatta Centre.

Due to contamination of the competition lake, events were held on a modified course in the warm-up lake at the centre.

Sophia Vicic and Kayla Hine both competed in the 5km Championships, while Dyana Crabb and Michael Evans swam in the non-championship 2.5km JX Event.

Dyana achieved the club's best placed finish, with the fastest time in her age group in the 2.5km.
