Local Swimming Centres Under Threat 27 August 2017 Peter-Johnston Latest News In conjunction with the council elections on Saturday, 9th September, Cumberland Council will ask voters for their opinion on the future of the swimming centres in the local area. A "Yes" vote in the poll will help to ensure the local pools remain open and are properly maintained. A "No" vote in the poll will most likely result in the closure of 2 or 3 of the pools in the local area. The Club is encouraging the community to vote YES in the poll.
