4 Medals at Metro South West Championships 19 November 2017 Peter-Johnston Latest News Merrylands finished the Metro South West Championships with 4 silver medals and finalists in 17 events. Alison Johnston won the club's first medal with 2nd place in the 17yrs & Over 50m Freestyle on Saturday morning. Dyana Crabb picked up 2 medals on Sunday, taking home silver in the 12yrs 100m Breaststroke and 200m Individual Medley. Reece Tomkinson was our third medallist at the meet, finishing with silver in the 16yrs 100m Backstroke. Our younger members swam particularly well, with some big PBs which reflected their consistent effort at training over the last 6 months. Well done to our team on their results.
